Save our planet beim Eurovision Song Contest

Mit “Ein bißchen Frieden” gewann Nicole 1982 den Grand Prix. Jetzt zählt ein junger Finne mit seinem Lied für den Planet Erde zu den Favoriten beim Eurovision Song Contest. Der erst zwanzigjährige Axel Ehnström aus Helsinki, der sich „Paradise Oskar“ nennt, gibt den charmanten Weltenretter. Seine Geschichte klingt wie ein Märchen: Im Sommer 2010 entstand aus einer Gitarrenimprovisation und einem teilweise selbstironischen Text der Song „Da Da Dam“. Die mit einem Minibudget erstellte Demoaufnahme schickte er für die offene Vorentscheidung zum Eurovision Song Contest. Er gewann in Finnland und jetzt zog er ins Finale ein. Die FAZ meint: „Allein schon um zu sehen, wie hinter ihm auf der LED-Leinwand ein riesiger Blauer Planet aufgeht, lohnt es sich, ihm am Samstag noch einmal zuzusehen.“
